Extra thin, 26-gauge (.478 mm) wire is strong enough for all your framing needs. Use eyelets in the side bars to prevent wire from gouging wood (HD-185). Our Spur Embedder (HD-145) tool is used to push the wire into wax foundation.

Support Pins

Use our Support Pins instead of wire to prevent foundation from sagging. Insert the support pin through pre-drilled holes in the end bars to hold the foundation. Preferred by beginner beekeepers who use wax foundation because it is much easier than cross wiring foundation. Color may vary for Plastic Support Pins.

Foundation Rods

Designed to put the "easy" into frame wiring! Rods are inserted through the holes in the end bars and secured with a locking nut. For the best results, alternate the rods so they are on both sides of the foundation. Color may vary.
