Assembled Bottom Board

The Assembled Bottom Board is the foundation to your hive. It provides the entrance to your hive and gives the bees proper space to work. Our Bottom Board is constructed with 3/4" (1.91 cm) plywood that is stapled and glued together to give you years of service. Choose from untreated, treated, or painted. All bottom boards include an entrance reducer.

Hive Stand

Hive Stands serve a great purpose for your colony by raising the bottom board off of the ground and eliminating moisture problems. The sloped plane provides a wider porch for entering bees giving them easier access to the hive. Sold unassembled, includes nails and easy instructions.

10 Frame Shim

Our new 10 Frame Shim is designed specifically to improve brood chamber congestion, which in turn helps to reduce swarming. A Shim also aids honey production by providing an additional entrance/exit to honey supers. The shim should only be placed between supers with drawn comb. Assembly required, includes nails and easy to follow instructions.
