Basic Starter Kit

If you're looking to get started on a budget, this is a great way to begin! This fully assembled kit includes gloves and a veil (additional heavy clothing is recommended for added protection), hive tool, smoker, the booklet "The New Starting Right with Bees" and all of the woodenware found in our Complete Hive Kit (page 10). Once your colony is established, you will need to add another brood chamber and then supers when nectar flows occur. See page 12 for additional assembled boxes. Sorry, no substitutions. Painted kits will come with a painted bottom board.
