MiteZapper^® - Chemical Free Varroa Mite Control - Without Opening Your Colony

Resembling a heating element, the MiteZapper^® is a hive frame that is built as a Drone Foundation. Install the MiteZapper^® into the super as easily as a regular frame. After the bees seal the brood, the beekeeper connects the frame to the control box, which is then connected to a 12 volt vehicle battery (not included) for about 8 minutes. The electricity produces enough heat to kill both the pupae and the mites. The bees then remove the dead brood/mites within 72 hours. Treatment is performed approximately 5 times per year (every 18-23 days during the drone rearing season.) Not for sale to Canada. Mite-A-Thol^®

Mite-A-Thol^® Menthol is still the safest and easiest way to treat for tracheal mites! Apply one packet per hive on the top bars of the upper corner of the brood box and leave for a minimum of 28 days for maximum results. Treat for tracheal mites both spring and fall. Remove menthol 30 days before the honey flow begins.

Bulk Mite-A-Thol^® is a free flow pelletized 99% pure menthol requiring packaging prior to treating hive. Each 55 lb (24.91 kg) box will treat approximately 488 colonies. Mesh bags also available. Directions for application are included. 1 pound will treat 8 hives.
