What size is right for me?

Did you know the only difference in measurements between 10-frame and 8-frame boxes is the width? 8-frame equipment is narrower than 10 frames, and not always compatible with other 8-frame equipment as dimensions vary slightly by manufacturers. 10 frame equipment offers more space for brood and honey production.

    Cutout

    My bees have taken to it nicely. Normally I have waxed beehives but needed one asap cause I received a cutout that I attend a week ago. Didn’t want to wait for delivery and I didn’t want to keep them in a plastic nuc box. They seem to be loving it cause they are still around, lol.

    Poor Quality

    I'm very disappointed in the joints. It looks like the joints were sheared, instead of cut. Resulting in lots of gaps in the corners for water to intrude. I spoke to customer service and they said they are 'only worried about gaps of an inch or more, the gaps would otherwise be filled in by the bees'.

    I have purchased supers from other companies and this one was by far the best. Assembled perfectly and the bees accepted it immediately.
