Our assembled deep hive bodies are built from sustainably harvested, FSC-certified Ponderosa Pine, precision-milled for a lightweight yet durable box that holds up season after season. Joints are stapled during assembly for a tight, secure fit, and every box is made in the USA. Just add standard Langstroth frames and your hive is ready to go.
This item ships in bulk quantity only, with a 60+ box minimum purchase — ideal for commercial beekeepers, sideliners, and anyone scaling up their operation.
Wood Grade This is our most popular grade: tight, solid knots, small pitch pockets, and small, tight cracks are all acceptable, while any imperfection that affects structure or function is not. Black knots are not accepted, and fingers and rabbet ears may have knots. Small knots in the hand hold are fine unless in the thinnest part of the hand hold, and black edge knots or planer skips up to ½" from the top or bottom of the board are acceptable.
The same trusted Rite-Cell® frame with a maximum wax coating, so bees can draw comb faster and spend more time making honey. All wax is sourced from US beekeepers.
Boxes are sized for 9⅛" frames and 8½" foundation.
