Fumagilin-B is a highly effective treatment for the prevention and control of Nosema disease in honey bees. Formulated from a natural extract produced by the fungus Aspergillus fumigatus, it provides targeted action against both Nosema ceranae and Nosema apis, supported by extensive independent research.

When used in spring and fall/autumn according to label directions, Fumagilin-B reduces Nosema spore loads, helping colonies maintain stronger populations, improved spring build-up, and higher winter survival rates. Healthier colonies also benefit from improved honey production, pollination performance, and overall bee quality.

Fumagilin-B is administered via sugar syrup feeding. While it can be dissolved at room temperature, optimal results are achieved by first warming water to 95–122°F, removing it from heat, adding Fumagilin-B, then sugar, and mixing thoroughly. After treatment, additional unmedicated syrup may be provided to support ongoing nutritional needs.

Pack Size & Coverage

This jar contains 2.0 g of fumagillin base, sufficient to prepare 80 liters of medicated syrup, suitable for:

• Feeding 22 package colonies, or

• Fall feeding of 12 wintering colonies

Storage

Store below 77°F and protect from sunlight. Do not freeze. Once mixed, medicated syrup should not be exposed to sunlight.
