We have developed a kit to convert your Apimaye hive into a super top insulated condensing hive for optimal overwintering performance. The kit includes:
1/8" Plexiglass panel to create an airtight seal within the hive, while also allowing for easy inspection
A reflective bubble foil layer to minimize heat loss between the plexiglass panel and Crown
Our R-40 Crown panel which is custom cut to fit snugly within the outer cover
The Apimaye kit comes with a cotton drawstring storage bag
