    Works, weak spring

    The spring on this clip is so weak that if you pick it up by the clip the cage opens enough for the queen to slip out, ask me how I know. I assume that this is intentional so that the cage wont crush a queen if she tries to slip out while the cage is closing, but you need to be careful to pick it up by the sides of the cage and not by the clip handle or your queen could slip out and drop to the ground or fly off.

    I bought several items to raise queens, I have never used any of these items because I never raised queens hopefully they work fine.
