Apivar® 2.0, 60 Strips

Apivar® 2.0 is the next generation of amitraz-based Varroa mite treatment, designed for faster action, easier application and greater flexibility.

Using a contact-based delivery system, Apivar 2.0 releases amitraz through direct contact between bees and the strips. As bees interact, the active ingredient spreads throughout the colony. Its innovative hanging system accommodates different frame types, with a foldable line for Langstroth frames for simpler placement.

How to Use

• Use 1 strip per 5 frames of bees.
• Place strips in the center of the brood nest.
• Keep at least 2 frames between strips.
• Keep both sides of each strip accessible to bees.
• Treat for 6 weeks when brood is not present or 10 weeks when brood is present.
• At mid-treatment, scrape strips free of wax and propolis and reposition them in the brood area for maximum efficacy.
• Remove honey supers before application. Do not use Apivar 2.0 when honey supers are present.
• Always read and follow the product label before use.
