Immersion heater with a 20.8" (53 cm) base. The base is reinforced to prevent bending. Made of stainless steel. 1500 W, 240 V. Temperature control up to 194°F (90°C) with dial. No electrical plug included. Use this with Pro Sweet! This unit is not designed for use with honey or bottling units. Only use with syrup.

This melter is about 20% smaller than the ones we have gotten from you in the past. Unfortunately, we are quite literally over a barrel, as Mann Lake is the sole distributer for this type of unit. Also, be aware of two things: Firstly, it ships with a Euro style plug, so if you are in North America, you will have to replace this before use and secondly, when they fail, they don't just quit; they fail CATASTROPHICALLY. In other words, they get hotter and hotter until the honey catches fire, if you are not paying attention. Ask us (and our insurance company) how we know this... Why do we repeatedly buy this thing, then? Because it is so much better, easier on the honey and more efficient than anything else out there. Just go into it with your eyes open.
