Fumagilin-B is a trusted treatment for the prevention and control of Nosema disease in honey bees. Derived from a natural extract produced by the fungus Aspergillus fumigatus, it delivers targeted and proven efficacy against both Nosema ceranae and Nosema apis.

Used in spring and fall/autumn according to label directions, Fumagilin-B helps reduce Nosema spore levels, supporting healthier colonies, improved spring build-up, and increased winter survival. Stronger colonies also benefit from improved honey production, better pollination performance, and higher-quality queens and packages.

Fumagilin-B is administered by feeding medicated sugar syrup. While it may be mixed at room temperature, best results are achieved by warming water to 95–122°F, removing it from heat, adding Fumagilin-B first, then sugar, and mixing thoroughly. Additional unmedicated syrup may be fed after treatment to ensure adequate nutrition.

Pack Size & Coverage

This jar contains 9.5 g of fumagillin base, sufficient to prepare 380 liters of medicated syrup, suitable for:

• Feeding 100–110 package colonies, or

• Fall feeding of 50 wintering colonies

Storage

Store below 77°F and protect from sunlight. Do not freeze. Once mixed, medicated syrup should not be exposed to sunlight.
