Telescoping covers are the roof of your hive. Like the protective cover over your own house, you want one that can withstand even the harshest conditions.
Our cover is made in the USA with heavy-duty aluminum that telescopes down over the top of the hive to keep out the elements. Wood components are wax dipped in a proprietary, bee friendly wax blend specifically formulated to enhance longevity of your woodenware. Woodenware is dipped at a high temperature, sterilizing the box, boiling moisture out and allowing the wax to impregnate the wood, resulting in up to 25 years of use in the field.
