    Wire crimper

    Sending it back - crimped 3 wires on my frame and now it just won’t turn crimp - it just slides along the wire. My husband tried it and had the same results. Inexpensive tool that doesn’t work.

    Need to tighten up those wires in your frames.

    my daughter gave me her wire crimper- it is awful. 9,times out of 10 , i can't get it to do anything, and i have strong hands!!!

    Some slippage does occur sometime before the gears bite the wire. Rotating the tool 45 degrees around the wire and/or pinching the tool shut with your second hand from the opposite side of the frame works well to produce tight crimped cross wires. Still, the tool does require a lot of hand strength/dexterity.
