Our Deluxe Complete Uncapping Tub Kit is crafted from heavy-duty, quarter-inch-thick polyethylene, an FDA-approved food-grade material. The bottom tank features a durable injection-molded 1.5” honey gate with a scissor action for clean cut-off against an O-ring.

This versatile Deluxe Complete Uncapping Tub Kit includes a wooden crossbar with a stainless-steel frame-holder spike and J-bolts. The bottom tank can be used as either a honey storage tank or a bottling tank. With a large capacity of 5 gallons, the tub’s grid prevents cappings from falling into the honey-collecting tank, which gathers honey drained from the wax cappings. Designed specifically as an uncapping tub, it is not just a modified, off-the-shelf plastic bin—it's built for food safety and durability. The lid can also serve as a hive tray during honey harvesting or hive transportation.

When in use, the two stacked tanks have a combined height of 18 inches. For storage, stacking reduces the height to 9 inches.
