    Late to ship

Posted by ROBERT MAY on Jun 11, 2025

The queen shipped late which is was stressful due to the bees where a swarm that somehow the queen was lost and therefore had no eggs to make a new queen. The hive did not resort to a worker laying hive and I introduced a frame of brood a couple of days before the new queen arrived. She survived and is laying - the hive is very strong now and I am thankful.
