FREE SHIPPING - Free shipping applies to most orders over $100 sent standard ground service within the lower 48 states. Custom items not shown in this catalog along with items marked with "Does not qualify for free shipping" are excluded from the free shipping offer. Items excluded from the offer are subject to change without notice. Due to the ever-rising cost of outbound shipping, any order with backordered item(s) may be held until the backordered item(s) arrives.

PACKAGE BEES/QUEENS/NUCS TERMS & CONDITIONS

Mann Lake guarantees that you will receive a fertile queen with your package. If there are no signs of eggs in the hive, please contact Mann Lake for a replacement queen. You must contact Mann Lake within 14 days of pickup to receive a replacement.

Package bee orders are prepaid. Orders that are cancelled or changed are subject to a $10 change or cancellation fee after the prepayment has been processed. For cancellations, this fee will be withheld from the refund.

PACKAGE BEES - SHIPPED

At Mann Lake Ltd., we make every attempt to ship your package bees on the scheduled date. The production of package bees and queens is dependent upon factors which lie outside our control, including weather patterns. As a result, Mann Lake Ltd. may need to rearrange scheduled dates or make other accommodations.  Any listed dates are tentative and are subject to change. Mann Lake Ltd. will provide notification to you via email, phone call, or postal mail, if shipments are not on schedule. We will contact you once an official ship date has been established and will provide a UPS tracking number once your bees have shipped.

Mann Lake does guarantee that your bees will arrive alive with a laying queen, however, we do not guarantee that you will be able to successfully establish a colony or “hive” with the package. You agree that you will not attempt to hold us responsible for whatever may happen to your package after it is delivered, or for the survival or productivity of the hive that you establish from the package. We will not refund any money for package bees that do not survive.

Package bees are shipped via UPS directly to the selected shipping address. Shipped package bees are guaranteed to not have more than 1.5” of dead bees (when spread evenly across the bottom of the package) upon delivery. You agree that you will not refuse your order if it arrives in poor condition. If shipment is refused, a refund will not be issued. If shipment arrives with all or nearly all of the bees dead or package is damaged (with more than 1.5” of dead bees spread evenly across the bottom), you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt or the guarantee is void.

In order for a claim to be filed with UPS and the customer to receive a refund, we require that an email with an attached photo of the package showing more than 1.5 inches of dead bees on the bottom of the package.

You agree that you will not attempt to hold us responsible for whatever may happen to your package after it is picked up, or for the survival or productivity of the hive that you establish from the package.

QUEEN TERMS & CONDITIONS

Any listed ship dates are tentative and subject to change on factors which lie outside our control.

If the queen arrives dead, you agree to contact us within 24 hours in order to receive a replacement queen at no additional cost. Second replacements are charged the full price plus shipping.

SHIPPING ESTIMATES - Although we try to be accurate with shipping charges, some circumstances can affect the final cost. If the cost to ship your order is higher than what you were quoted during checkout, we will contact you before we proceed with shipping.

ORDER FOR EXPORT - Quotes on orders for export may include shipping, special pack­ag­ing, and doc­u­men­ta­tion at a customer’s request. Please call us for quotes. All shipments for export are subject to prepayment in U.S. Funds. The customer agrees that they will be responsible for all product, shipping and destruction expenses if any ordered product is rejected by the importing county's customs' agency.

SALES, FREIGHT & WARRANTY INFORMATION
WARRANTY - Mann Lake Ltd. warrants its equipment to be free of defects in material and work­man­ship. If within 30 days of purchase you feel an item to be defective, please return the merchandise along with your sales receipt and Mann Lake Ltd. will refund the purchase price along with all transportation charges. Warranty does not cover damage to equipment arising from alteration, abuse or use of product for other than its intended purpose.

DAMAGED FREIGHT - All mer­chan­dise is shipped “F.O.B. Shipping Point”. This is a legal term that means all merchandise becomes your property as soon as we give it to the freight carrier. The freight carrier is responsible for complete and safe delivery of your merchandise. It is your responsibility to inspect the merchandise when it is delivered. If the freight carrier fails to deliver your merchandise in good condition, it is your responsibility to contact us so that we can file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.

PICK-UP ORDERS - A call before you arrive will help us serve you in the fastest manner possible. In most cases, we can have the order ready for you to pick up.

ORDER DISCREPANCIES - Check all orders immediately upon receipt and contact us within 10 days on any discrepancies.

RETURNED MERCHANDISE - Please call if you need to return an item. We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Call for Return Authorization.
  • Item must be in good condition.
  • Item must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  • Original receipt is required.
  • In most cases a restocking fee of 20% will be charged. We cannot accept returns on hazardous materials.

REPLACING MERCHANDISE - When a situation occurs where Mann Lake Ltd. is shipping another product to you as replacement for damaged or incorrect product, there will be an additional charge for the new product sent and a credit applied at time of the return of the incorrect product.

PRICES - Mann Lake Ltd. will invoice all orders on the basis of prices which are in effect at the time of shipment. We reserve the right to change catalog prices if we deem it necessary. Please feel free to confirm prices at any time. Mann Lake is not responsible for typographical errors.

LIABILITY - Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid for any item. We make no warranty or representation, express or implied except all products conform to the description provided by the manufactur­er on sales literature or product labels.

PRODUCT SUITABILITY - Due to many state and local codes and regulations regarding sales, con­struc­tion, installation and use of products for certain purposes, we cannot guarantee compliance in every situation. We attempt to assure that all products comply with state and local codes and regulations, so before you purchase and use a product please review both the product application and local codes and regulations. Be sure that the product, its installation and its use will comply with those codes and regulations.

STATE SALES TAX - When applicable, we are required to collect sales tax by law. Exemptions for sales tax will be allowed if you have either a signed Certificate of Resale or an Exemption Certificate. The tax forms vary by state, please call for details. Law requires that we have these certificates on file before any tax exemption can be allowed.

HOLIDAY CLOSINGS - We are closed New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanks­giv­ing Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

CREDIT CARDS - Mann Lake reserves the right to preauthorize credit and/or debit cards. No money leaves your account until the purchase clears but the hold is active until the actual transaction is settled. When there's a hold on your account, it lowers your available balance. Mann Lake is not responsible for overdraft fees resulting from the pre-authorization of your card.
