What size is right for me?

Did you know the only difference in measurements between 10 frame and 8 frame boxes is the width? 8 frame equipment is narrower than 10 frame, and not always compatible with other 8 frame equipment as dimensions vary slightly by manufacturers. 10 frame equipment offers more space for brood and honey production.

    Traditional Growing Apiary Kit

by Leslie Lantz on May 05, 2022

Paint job keeps getting worse especially corners. Always plan to repaint the entire kit. Inspect carefully to see if "bad wood"(depressed, wrinkled, soft to touch) is below the paint. Bought these for many years, but keeps getting worse. Please get better again.

Good Start - Needs Queen Excluder Included

by Hunter on Mar 29, 2022

Got a swarm of bees caught and in a nuc, so came to buy a complete hive setup for them this year. Bought this, later realized it doesn't include a queen excluder, so I'm back to buy the one piece this kit is missing. Kind of a big oversight. Would be 5/5, but knocked a star off for missing the excluder. Still love MannLake, but y'all need to add an excluder to this package.
