Description

 These highly-functional boxes are an economical choice for your beekeeping neesd. While the boxes may include multiple solid or loose knots, pitch pockets, functional cracks and knots in fingers or rabbets, we ensure any blemishes will not interfere with the structure and functionality of the box. Made in the USA. 

Use 9⅛" Frames and 8½" Foundation. Nails not included.

What size is right for me?

Did you know the only difference in measurements between 10 frame and 8 frame boxes is the width? 8 frame equipment is narrower than 10 frame, and not always compatible with other 8 frame equipment as dimensions vary slightly by manufacturers. 10 frame equipment offers more space for brood and honey production.

    Budget is a key word

    I procured these at the Marshal Texas Location. In Boxes so staff has no Idea how they fulfill your orders. I am an New bee keeper but a good carpenter. Of the 5 boxes 3 were acceptable, assembly and square was good. On 2 boxes, splits were in sides and ends. I glued with exterior wood glue on the outside and clamped the split sealed. Suspect quality control is in a rush. there were Just too many splits to be an accident. App boxes had numerous knots but as I say assembly went well. On the 2 repaired boxes one went together and squared well, the final box assembled but with all my cabinet clamps, strap clamps and effort it remained out of square by 1/4 inch. In my experience this is box joint errors. maybe the system needed adjustment. I painted all and will use the out of square for emergencies and back of the side by side to carry frames.

    A few tabs broke due knots. Otherwise they went together very well. They will work fine.

    For the money they work well, I drilled for my screws because I don't use nails that work lose & with screws I can take apart easily & replace or repair. Out of 20 boxes I had tow that needed extra care putting together.

    They are better than what I bought several years ago, those were not good at all. Thank you for making the improvements, didn't have to cut the bottoms or add strips of wood to even them out.
