If you are looking to shave off some time with during your baby chick chores, this is the fount for you. The one gallon capacity means you will be changing the water less frequently than with the smaller mason jar founts. The wide mouth of the gallon fount is easy to clean and you can fit your whole hand in the jar!
You can choose from the regular base (PW534) for use with 2 week or older baby chicks or the narrow trough no drown/quail drinker base (PW533). Get both and use the narrow trough for your baby chicks and the wide mouth as they get older!
