FREE SHIPPING
Free shipping applies to most orders with subtotals over $150 sent via standard ground service by a carrier of our choice within the lower 48 states. Items included or excluded from this offer are subject to change without notice. Custom items may be excluded from the free shipping offer.

Please note:

  • The cost of live bees ordered with other products does not count toward the minimum total for free shipping.
  • Orders containing back-ordered items will be held until all items are in stock and can be shipped together.
  • Customers are responsible for any small parcel, expedited, or freight/LTL costs for items not eligible for free shipping. Freight costs are based on dimensional weight—call 800-880-7694 for a quote.
  • Freight shipments may take longer to process and deliver compared to standard shipping.

Next Day, 2nd Day, & 3rd Day Air shipping options are available at an additional cost.

 

ORDER PROCESSING & SHIPPING TIMELINES
Most orders process and ship within 1-2 business days. However, there are times when we might experience shipping delays. Orders are processed in the order received.

  • To prioritize your order, a $20 expedited processing fee is available—call 800-880-7694 to request this service.
  • Processing delays for standard orders do not affect expedited shipments, which are dispatched the same day if received before the cutoff times listed below. 

SPECIAL & PICK-UP ORDERS

  • Some orders may require a deposit.
  • Call ahead for pick-up orders to ensure quick service.

ONLINE ORDERS
Placed after 4 PM CST are processed the next business day. Orders from Friday 4 PM CST to Monday 8 AM CST will be processed Monday at 8 AM CST.

 

EXPEDITED ORDERS

  • Mann Lake Ltd. is not liable for carrier delays.
  • Delivery is Monday–Friday only; no Saturday deliveries or holiday deliveries.
  • Expedited shipping times depend on the carrier’s daily pickup schedule at the local branch warehouse.
  • Cutoff times for weekday orders (based on branch location):
    • Woodland, CA – USPS: 1:00 PM PST; UPS: 1:00 PM PST
    • Hackensack, MN – USPS: 12:00 PM CST; UPS: 2:00 PM CST
    • Clarkson, KY – UPS: 2:00 PM CST
    • Winter Haven, FL – USPS: 12:00 PM EST; UPS: 1:00 PM EST

NOTE: USPS Priority Mail is standard ground; it is not expedited. UPS Next Day Air/ 2nd Day Air delivers the next business day. For Saturday delivery, please call for pricing and arrangements.

 

SHIPPING ESTIMATES
Shipping charges are approximate. If the actual cost exceeds your quote, we will contact you before shipping.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Quotes can include shipping, packaging, and documentation. Please call us for quotes. Orders require prepayment in U.S. Funds. You are responsible for all product, shipping and destruction expenses if any ordered product is rejected by the importing country’s customs agency. Exported orders may be subject to additional fees, such as, but not limited to, taxes, duties, and brokerage fees. Quotes do not include duties, taxes, or other fees charged by the destination country.

 

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

  • Address Correction / Package Intercept: $20.00
  • Acknowledgment of Delivery: $5.00
  • Call Tag Received: $9.00
  • Live Bee Order Change or Cancellation: $10.00 (or 50% of the order total if made within 14 days of the scheduled ship date)
  • Restocking fee for canceled orders fulfilled in our warehouse: 10% of the order value
  • Fuel surcharge: subject to change without notice

 

ORDERS, CANCELLATIONS & REVISIONS

 

PACKAGE BEES, QUEENS, & NUCS

  • Only shipped within the contiguous U.S.
  • The ship date selected indicates the day your packages are processed for shipping. Bees will arrive at your local post office for pickup mid-week.
  • You will receive tracking information via email. Tracking may not show movement until Monday. USPS does not handle live bees the same way as regular parcels and tracking may not be real-time.
  • The cost of live bees does not count toward free shipping minimums.

ORDER DISCREPANCIES

Check all product orders immediately upon receipt and contact us within 30 days on any discrepancies.  Live bees are excluded from the 30-day policy. All issues with live bees must be reported immediately. For more information on reporting issues for live bees, please see our Live Bee Policy. 

 

RETURNED MERCHANDISE

Please refer to our Returns & Exchanges section for instructions. 

 

REPLACING MERCHANDISE

When we ship a replacement due to damage or an incorrect item, there will be an additional charge for the new product. A credit for the original will be issued upon return of the incorrect product. 

 

WARRANTY

Mann Lake Bee & Ag Supply warrants its equipment to be free of functional defects in material and workmanship. If you believe an item is defective, please contact us within 30 days of purchase. You may be asked to return the merchandise to receive a refund. Refunds will include the purchase price plus all transportation charges if the product is confirmed to be defective.

  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by alteration, misuse, abuse, or use of the product for purposes other than its intended use.
  • Photos must be provided for damaged product replacements.

 

Lumber & Woodenware

  • Mann Lake Bee & Ag Supply offers three grades of lumber: selectcommercial, and budget. Acceptable imperfections for each grade are detailed in the Product Details section, available online and in our catalog.
  • For unassembled woodenware, we recommend assembling promptly, as moisture levels can change over time and affect fit.
  • If you experience any assembly issues related to fit or cut, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and provide photos of any defects.
  • If the defects are outside our manufacturing grading standards, we will promptly provide a free replacement.

DAMAGED FREIGHT

All merchandise is shipped “F.O.B. Shipping Point,” meaning the goods become your property once they are handed over to the freight carrier. The carrier is responsible for delivering the merchandise in complete and safe condition.

It is your responsibility to inspect the merchandise immediately upon delivery. If the carrier fails to deliver your order in good condition, you must note any damage before signing for the shipment.

Please contact us immediately to file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. Photos of the package, shipping label, and damaged merchandise are required to process your claim and to receive a refund or replacement.

If items arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, please use our Damaged/Defective/Wrong Item Form to report the issue. All claims must be reported within 30 days of receipt. 

 

MERCHANDISE SUBSTITUTIONS

If a purchased item is unavailable, Mann Lake reserves the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value at the same cost. If a suitable substitute of equal or greater value isn't available, we may offer a lesser-value alternative, and you will be charged accordingly. We will contact you via email for approval before proceeding. 

 

PRICES

All invoices are based on prices in effect at the time of shipment. We reserve the right to modify catalog prices as needed. Please confirm prices if required. We are not responsible for typographical errors.

 

SALES TAX

We are required to collect sales tax where applicable. Exemptions are available with a valid Certificate of Resale or Exemption Certificate, which must be on file before exemption is granted.

  • Tax rates are based on the shipment or destination address, including state, county, city, and district taxes.
  • An estimated sales tax will be shown during checkout and on your order confirmation, but final charges may differ.
  • Tax-exempt purchases will be reflected accordingly once the order ships. 

 

SITEWIDE & PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNTS

Certain products are excluded from sitewide and promotional discount offers. These include, but are not limited to, Live Package Bees, Live Queen Bees, Live Nucs, Gift Cards, Gallagher products, Lodge products, Conference Specials, Pen Pals ADM, and Featherman products.

  • Sitewide discounts, military discounts, and promo codes cannot be combined with other sales or discounts.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express, Check with Order, Check by Phone, Wire Transfer, and PayPal (online transactions only).

 

OVERPAYMENTS

Overpayments can be refunded or credited to your account. Refunds typically take 7–10 business days to process.

 

CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORIZATION

We reserve the right to preauthorize credit/debit cards. Funds are held until the transaction clears, which may temporarily lower your available balance. We are not responsible for overdraft fees resulting from pre-authorization holds.

 

HOURS OF OPERATION

Our phones are answered from 7 AM to 7 PM CST, Monday–Friday.

 

HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

We are closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Additionally, we may be closed on other days surrounding these holidays. It is always recommended to contact us directly for any questions regarding our holiday hours.
