Sideliner Uncapper Features

Our sideliner honey uncapper has the following features:

  • Fits easily on our HH188 Large Stainless Steel Uncapping Tank to combine two jobs into one.
  • Constructed of 12 gauge stainless steel, this machine will uncap 9 frames per minute - about 60 hive bodies an hour!
  • Fully adjustable, specially milled rollers slice into the cappings on both sides of the frame, uncapping each frame in one pass.
  • Minimizes the amount of cappings collected as it does not actually remove the outer layers of wax.

At Mann Lake, we aim to provide top-of-the-line products to help you run your bee business. Whether you’re a hobbyist discovering the beginnings of bee production or a large-scale enterprise, we have the right honey uncapping equipment for you.

If you’re unsure what uncapping process can be faster than manual operation, you’re in luck. Our sideliner honey uncapper machine can uncap each individual darker comb to induce minimal damage to the natural wax foundation in the frame.

Quality Honey Uncapper for Streamlined Extraction

Uncapping is the process of removing the thin layer of wax capping that bees use to seal honey within the comb. It's a crucial step in honey extraction, allowing the beekeeper to access and collect the honey from the comb.

Crafted from durable 12-gauge stainless steel, our sideliner uncapper is designed for beekeepers seeking to streamline their operations. This essential piece of equipment is the key to running a smooth and efficient bee business.

To uncap, place Langstroth frames of any depth in the chain-driven carrier.

Then, simply crank the handle to run the frame through the uncapper.

Orders beyond $150, like our honey frame uncapper, enjoy free shipping (terms and conditions apply).

    Sideline Uncapper

Bought this a few years back and have used minimally. It did not come with instructions on how to make needed adjustments. It does not do a very good job with frames that are drawn out shallow.
